Will Travis Kelce go to Australia with Taylor Swift for the Eras Tour?

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime at Super Bowl LVIII, with Travis Kelce sealing their victory with a kiss with Taylor Swift, who was watching on from her suite in Las Vegas. The championship Game being over means the 2023 NFL season is over and that the Chiefs tight end is a free man just as his pop star girlfriend’s Eras Tour gets set to resume in Australia. And the signs are it’ll be Kelce’s turn for some jet-setting to support his other half.

Kelce “will be joining Swift on her tour”

Much was made, of course, about whether or not Swift would be able to make it from the last or four dates in Tokyo, Japan to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl, which she managed fairly comfortably in the end. Her world tour resumes in Melbourne, Australia on Friday 16 February, with US Weekly reporting that “Travis will be joining Taylor on her tour and Travelling with her after the Super Bowl.”

Whether Kelce will be at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday or will still be celebrating the Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl and join up slightly later isn’t completely clear, with another tight turnaround on the cards for the “Shake It Off” singer if she stays in the United States for the NFL team’s victory parade.

When and where will be Swift and Kelce be in Australia?

The Chiefs are expected to celebrate their victory in Kansas City on Wednesday 14 February - Valentine’s Day (sometimes these scripts right themselves) - which means Swift, and potentially Kelce, doesn’t have too much time to hang about if they are be Down Under by 6:00 p.m. local time on Friday (2:00 a.m. ET).

Having a private jet will help considerably, of course, although Swift would ideally like to be well rested ahead of the next leg of her tour.

The 34-year old will play three gigs in Melbourne (16-18 February) followed by four in Sydney (23-26 February) after which she’ll have a few days off before heading to Singapore, presumably with Kelce in tow.
