AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter was developed by Bell for the US Marine Corps (USMC). It evolved form the AH-1T and follows the general outlines of the AH-1 Cobra. The Super Cobra was adopted by the USMC in 1986 and is still in service. This gunship was used during the Persian Gulf ധąɾ. A total of 48 AH-1W attack helicopter s were used during that ωαя. Two Marine Corps F-35B Lighting II Joint Strike Fighters took off and landed on Japan’s largest warship, JS  Izumo  (DDH-183), on Oct.3, marking the first time that fixed-wing aircraft have operated off a Japanese warship since World War II. Since November 2018, the Japanese government has also announced a plan to upgrade two  Izumo-class helicopter destroyers  to turn them into mini- carrier s carrying more than 12 F-35 stealth fighters. “Ever since we got these ships (  Izumo-class multipurpose destroyer , built in 2015), we’ve wanted to use them for many purposes,” Japanese Defense Minister Takeshi Iwaya told reporters. The Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopter s deployed by France and Spain will undergo a mid-life update to boost capabilities at a cost of €65.8 million ($71.9 million ) per aircraft. General military aircraft need to be extended and upgraded after a certain period of service in order to maintain combat effectiveness. Recently it was reported that France and Spain ink deals to upgrade their Tiger attack helicopter to improve their connectivity, precision, and firepower capabilities. Boeing did it right with the CH-47. There is no replacement for my Chinook – the only replacement is more CH-47s. Almost half of the 6,000 plus total hours I’ve flown in my career took place in the leɡeпdагу Boeing heavy-lіft Chinook. Kamov Ka-29 was born in the 1970s, the first flight was made in 1976. Ka-29 has an empty weight of 5.52 tons, maximum takeoff weight of 12.6 tons. The CH-54 Tarhe, also called Skycrane or flying insect, was manufactured by Sikorsky. The nickname Skycrane derives from its heavy load cargo lifting mission.
